1.1 You will be able to access most areas of this website without registering your details with us, certain areas of this website are only open to you if you register.
1.2 We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should re-visit this page from time to time to review the up to date terms and conditions, because they are binding to you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages on the website. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this website.
2.1 Most orders are placed via the website, by the telephone or face to face (either at the workshop or at an event).
2.2 Interior orders and some ‘Special Orders’ are placed by the telephone, email or face to face and cannot be placed via the website. For more information on how to place an interior order see Section 3 below.
2.3 International orders are placed by email.
2.4 By completing the online checkout process, you are deemed to have placed an order with us. As part of our checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement detailing the products you have ordered.
2.5 We may refuse to accept an order:
a) Where the goods are not available;
b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; or
c) If there has been a pricing or product description error.
2.6 You will receive an email saying your order has been completed once the item(s) have been shipped (for orders placed via the website).
2.7 All goods remain the property of VanWurks Limited until payment has been received in full.
2.8 VanWurks cannot be held liable for any goods damaged in transit. Any damaged goods received MUST be reported IMMEDIATELY.
2.9 Certain products are subject to a non-refundable deposit. You will be notified of this at the time of placing the order.
2.10 All products are sold in accordance with the ‘Consumers Contracts Regulations’.
2.11 Whilst we make every effort to provide accurate information about the products, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the product is correct.
3 Interior Orders
3.1 We require a £250 deposit to secure an order for an interior which is to be installed by someone other than VanWurks Ltd. If your chosen colour for your interior is a ‘Special Order’, we require a £500 deposit.
3.2 The deposit is non-refundable.
3.3 The deposit can be made by either bank transfer, debit card or cash.
3.4 We aim to dispatch all orders in 4-6 weeks, however this time can increase during busy periods. We will inform you of likely durations at the time of placing the order. ‘Special Orders’ have an 8-10 week lead time.
3.5 Payment must be received in full (with funds cleared) prior to dispatch of an order.
3.6 If payment is being made by Debit card, the goods have to be delivered to the address where the card is registered.
3.7 If the order is being collected by someone other than the person who placed the order, the payment must be made by bank transfer.
3.8 All goods remain the property of VanWurks Ltd until payment has been received.
3.9 Unless previously agreed, your order must be delivered or collected within 14 days of VanWurks notifying you that your order is complete. After 14 days, you may be subject to a storage charge.
4 Interior Installation
4.1 We require a £500 deposit for an interior installation to be carried out by VanWurks Ltd.
4.2 The deposit is non-refundable.
4.3 The deposit can be made by either bank transfer, debit card or cash.
4.4 We require your vehicle for approximately 3-6 weeks to complete the conversion/installation.
4.5 Dropping off your vehicle
i) Vehicles are to be dropped off within our normal workings hours, which are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Dropping off your vehicle outside of these times must be arranged in advance.
ii) We cannot receive you vehicle prior to the arranged drop off date unless otherwise agreed.
iii) If your vehicle is being delivered by a third party, we would advise you are present to receive the vehicle from the agent so that you can check for any damages that may have occurred in transit. VanWurks cannot be held responsible for any damages that have occurred in transit.
4.6 Condition of your vehicle
i) Vehicles must be running, have operational brakes and have no petrol leaks or starting issues and be electronically safe.
ii) All windows/skylights must be fitted and your vehicle must be watertight.
iii) Although all vehicles are kept inside our workshop at night, all doors must be lockable as on occasions, it will parked outside in one of our parking spaces during the daytime.
iv) Your vehicle must arrive empty with the old interior/accessories removed (unless we have quoted for removal as part of the works).
v) All possessions must be removed from the vehicle (such as fire extinguishers, tow ropes, jump leads, rubbish, etc.).
vi) Your camper must arrive in a reasonably clean condition ready for us to start the refit. You will be charged at our hourly rate for any vehicle that requires excessive cleaning or further stripping out of the old interior and/or for the disposal of any old interior parts/rubbish.
vii) As we do not undertake bodywork, any holes in the floor pan/wheel arches, etc. must be welded prior to the vehicle coming in to us.
4.7 Collection of your vehicle
i) We will keep you updated with your vehicles progress as the completion date can move if unforeseen circumstances arise. Once you have been notified of the vehicles completion, you must collect within 7 days (unless otherwise agreed) or it will be moved to our storage facility and a storage cost of £10 per day will be charged.
ii) On the day of collection, please allow an hour for the handover as we will need to discuss the operation of the electrics, gas, etc.
iii) Collections are to be arranged within our normal working hours, which are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Collections outside of these hours must be arranged in advance.
iv) If your vehicle is being collected by a third party, we advise that you are present to supervise the handover to the agent. VanWurks cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur once it has left our premises.
4.8 Interim payments are required during the installation period. The amount and frequency of these payments will be determined depending on the value and duration of the works being carried out.
4.9 Payment must be received in full (with funds cleared) prior to the vehicle being collected.
4.10 All goods remain the property of VanWurks Ltd until payment has been received.
5.1 All prices are in sterling pounds (£).
5.2 All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.
5.3 Our VAT number is 939 9236 70.
5.4 Items marked as ‘Pallet Delivery Required’ will require us to calculate a shipping price as it needs to be sent on a pallet. Please allow 24-72 hours for this quote to be obtained. Any quote provided for shipping is valid for 28 days, after which a new quote will be given.
5.5 For orders outside the UK, we will obtain a quote for shipping from one of our International couriers. Please allow 24-72 hours for this quote to be obtained. Any quote provided for shipping is valid for 28 days, after which a new quote will be given. No payment will be requested/taken until the quote for shipping has been accepted.
5.6 Whilst we make every endeavour to adhere to our published prices, we reserve the right to amend them to those current at the date of dispatch.
5.7 Special promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers or sale items.
5.8 Postage, packaging, insurance and other relevant charges are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.
5.9 Our prices are reviewed periodically and the next review will be on 01/04/2019.
6.1 Payment for orders placed online are made using PayPal.
6.2 Payment for orders placed over the phone are made by either bank transfer, Debit card or cheque.
6.3 For payments made by Debit card, the goods must be delivered to the address where the card is registered.
6.4 Cheques are payable to VanWurks Limited.
6.5 For bank transfers and cheque payments, the order will not processed/released until the funds have cleared.
6.6 International orders are to be paid in Sterling by bank transfer. The order will not processed/released until the funds have cleared.
6.7 Any bank charges for receiving international payments must be met by the customer. For payments of £100 and under, the bank charges are £1. For payments over £100 the bank charges are £7.
7.1 Wherever possible you should check your order for any damage prior to signing for the delivery. Any damages should be reported on the courier’s relevant paperwork.
7.2 You must be available to accept the delivery of your order. If you are not available, please provide instructions to where (if possible) the parcel may be left. Please note, not all courier will leave the parcel without obtaining a signature.
7.3 The courier will make two attempts to deliver the goods after which they will be returned to us. A refund for the cost of the goods without the shipping will be processed within 7 days of us receiving the returned goods unless you notify us before then to advise that the goods are still required. If you still require the order, you will be charged an additional shipping fee for a second delivery.
7.4 Subject to the item being in stock and it not being a ‘special order’, we will aim dispatch your order with 3-5 working days.
7.5 Delivery times will vary depending upon the order size and location. Orders to mainland UK are dispatched on a next day working day service.
7.6 Delivery times for International shipments will be stated at the time the shipping quote is provided.
7.7 For international orders, the customer is responsible for any applicable taxes and/or duties and will need to pay these upon delivery.
7.8 It is our objective to achieve ‘on time’ delivery on all orders. Once dispatched, the ‘on time’ delivery of the order is the responsibility of the relevant courier company and VanWurks cannot be held responsible for a package not reaching its designation.
7.9 In the event of an order being misplaced by the courier, a period of 14 working days is required for them to carry out the necessary investigations. If the parcel has not been found after this time, VanWurks will re-send or refund your order. If a refund is applied and the goods are later located (and delivered), then we reserve the right to place a debit for these goods unless you return them to us.

8.1 You may collect your order direct from us. Payment must be made either by bank transfer prior to collection or by cash or Debit card upon collection.
8.2 The goods must be checked and any discrepancies reported prior to leaving the premises.
8.3 Any goods collected are sold on an ex-works basis.
9 Cancellation and Returns
9.1 You have the right to cancel an order from the moment you place the order and up to 14 days after receiving the order. Should you cancel the order, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
9.2 Before returning any goods, please contact us either by using the Cancellation Form, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 0161 637 4882.
9.3 Returned goods must not have been fitted and must be in a re-saleable condition, unless the reason for the return is due to the goods being faulty.
9.4 The customer must meet the cost of the carriage to return the goods unless the reason for the return is due to the goods being faulty.
9.5 The returned goods must be packaged to the same standard they were received in and include proof of purchase.
9.6 We suggest you use the Post Office to return your item(s), ensuring you obtain proof of postage.
9.7 A full refund (excluding the cost of postage and packaging) will be given within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. Should the goods be damaged due to how they were packaged for returning, there may be reduction in the amount of refund given. We will contact you to discuss if this was to happen.
9.8 Unwanted goods returned within 30 days from date of the invoice will receive a full refund. Unwanted goods received after 30 days are subject to a 20% handling charge. No unwanted goods can be returned after 90 days (unless they are deemed faulty).
